Well just incase you were wondering....

I am still alive, and my computer does still work(minus the sound, but that is another story).
However, those two things together do not automatically produce the promise of a blog entry.

Here are some of the recent happenings in our house...
1. Mckinley is walking/ RUNNING all over the place
2. I am walking/RUNNING/ stopping to catch my breath to keep up with her
3. Mckinley has officially learned how to dance...here we come Bengal Belles
4. After a small incident involving a stuffed animal and the potty, Chris and I have learned that all the doors at 5506 100th must remain closed and locked...at all times
5. Mckinley's new favorite toy is a feather duster, and mom's makeup (both great signs in my book)

On a more serious note, I am currently going through the study of Daniel by Beth Moore. It is amazing. God has used it to open my eyes to so many things. And the timing of this study at this point in my life could not be any more perfect. So funny how God knows what we need before we even ask. :) I could not be more thankful.

Kinda Fishy...

Mckinley ceases to amaze me. So far she is one of the most hysterical people that I have ever met, and she doesn't even talk yet.
This morning she decided to wake up at 5a.m.. I forced myself out of bed to see what in the world she needed. I walked in her room, and of course she wanted out of bed. I picked her up, and took in the kitchen to make a bottle. I sat her down on the floor, and she immediately crawled toward the bag of goldfish that were on the ground. She undid the top of the bag, and went in for the big grab. I don't know if it is just me, but something about Goldfish at 5 in the morning does not sound all that great. But apparently Goldfish were just the thing she needed this morning. After a brief snack, she headed off to bed for another three hours (now that's more like it).
