Emilie Galanos, the homemaker....

I will start by saying that I don't even compare, come close to, or remind my self in any way of Martha Stewart. I mean, I love her show. She has got some great ideas and all, but anyone who has that much time to organize whatever she organizes has way to much time on their hands. However, I am always looking for ways to make the things that I do actually do around the house easier. I am in love with my two recent findings.

The first one is the Dyson cordless minivac. One word. Amazing. It is this crazy little cordless vac thing that looks like and amplified water gun. I use it at least 2000 times a day. Yes, I even use it to suck all the left over food on Mckinley off of her after every meal. She really thinks that it is a fun, fun game. I am hoping to keep it that way.

The next is a steamer for our clothes.  I am not a fan of laundry at all. If you ask Chris, he will tell you that he only has clean underwear on rare occasions. Totally my fault. If I am not even motivated to do the laundry, it would be fair to say that I am way less motivated to iron the laundry. Who in the world invented that idea anyway? Again, another person with too much time on their hands. However, this steamer thing. Wow, it does wonders. I can have all of our shirts done in about twenty minutes. Great. Now I just might have some extra time for organizing.
